I would unhesitatingly recommend Marc and Helene's wonderful apartment at 6 rue de la Barre to anyone wanting to spend some time in Lyon. "Wonderful staff who go out of their way to help their guests. Good restaurant recommendations and reservations. The hotel has a good location near city center and old Lyon. The hotel is quiet although there is a lot of activity nearby. We stayed last year and had a great room. This year, while we booked the same class of room, it didn’t seem like the same. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"The property was close to restaurants, shopping and the town. It was a busy road outside but you wouldn’t know that once inside. The breakfast was very tasty, great coffee and a good choice of breakfast items. The hotel was very stylish, I felt I had stepped back in time but with a modern twist. Great nights sleep. "The location is superb. The hotel staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Free coffee, hot coco, and water was a nice touch. Daily housekeeping is great. The room is adequately air conditioned. Areaa for improvement: the towels need upgrading. Some mold in the bathroom. Would I stay here again? Sure. But I would bring my own towel next time. I enjoyed my stay. I enjoyed Lyon in general."
