"Property has a lovely view, convenient to small retail shops of Lake Junaluska and Chapel. The property is showing its age in several areas. The hotel could use a remodel, or at least a full inspection with repairs. Coffee should be available all day in the lobby, instead of only tea. The cafeteria could use better planning for group meals. Shellfish should not be served."

"We absolutely loved our stay! The property was exactly as described, with beautiful mountain views, plenty of space, and everything we could have asked for. It was also the cleanest vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in, which made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable.The host was wonderful—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.We would 100% recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again!"

"The house was conveniently located to all the activities and restaurants.There was plenty of room to park 3 cars on a flat surface which isn’t always easy to find in the mountains.We loved having 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, and appliances.We will definitely plan to stay at this property again next year!"

"Loved the screened in porch and spent much time enjoying that part of the house. Everything was clean and great for our family of 6. There is no central A/C but window units kept it fairly cool. It’s a short walk, or even shorter drive, to all the amenities at Lake Junaluska, so the location was great too. There is no beach area to enjoy, but one was pictured in the rental pics, so that was a bit misleading."

"We had an excellent stay in this spacious, warm home. The two sunrooms were bright and relaxing, and the screened porch quickly became our favorite spot for eating outside and playing games. The kitchen’s generous size made meal prep easy and comfortable for our group. The house offers plenty of both public and private spaces, giving everyone room to be together or take a little quiet time apart. It’s a very inviting place and perfect for a comfortable getaway."

"Lisa’s cozy lake home was very welcoming and clean with comfortable beds. Aside from having plenty of towels, soaps, dishware and glasses, Lisa provided many small extras (eg. coffee, condiments, snacks, umbrellas) to make our stay enjoyable. The dead end street location is a short walk to the lake, pool, tennis/pickleball courts and meeting spaces yet is quiet and peaceful. Like much of the homes at Lake Junaluska, this is an older home which required us to run the a/c regularly to keep it comfortable. We thank Lisa for sharing her home with us and would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"We had a group of 9 adults and 3 teenagers. The house was perfectly accommodating for that size. It felt like grandma's house. I loved all the personal touches. We spent so much time in the kitchen, around the dining room table and on the front porch. It was so cozy; sitting in the living room with the fireplace going. "
