Ultra Green Modern Mountain Home

"Pictures do not do this smart home justice! Much bigger than it looks, FULL LUXURY and the ideal location for going back down to Durango or up to Silverton the Alpine Loop. We stayed during the hottest part of summer - not having HVAC was not an issue - it got down into the low 50's at night. With the right windows open, air is constantly circulating and it's easy to keep the main living area and kitchen cool during the day. The floors are beautiful wood-look tile and they stay cool all day. Once the sun goes down over the mountains, with the sunroom windows open and the second front door open, the house cools of quickly. The kitchen is well stocked - bring your own foil, baggies, etc.- but only room for 2 people at a time. My OCD appreciated good cleaning supplies (instead of dollar store) and a vacuum/broom. We only used the primary bedroom - the mattress, linens and towels are luxury hotel quality. It's easy to go for a morning or evening stroll and the stargazing is incredible at 4am! Besides the window wall in the dining room, my fave part of the house is the garage and how much room there is to unload & park vehicles. We rented this place last minute to get away from the Texas heat and work remotely. We got to meet the owner, Sean, and told him how impressed we were. I'm a lifelong Realtor with high expectations and Sean's place went above and beyond."

"The house is spacious, great furnishings for a large group and well stocked. Lots of games for the kids and they loved having their own space in the basement. The setting is beautiful and the location was great. It was a challenge getting down to the lake but if you can make it down there it’s fun for fishing or canoeing."

"Great home-base for outdoor fun. Two of us and a small dog, easy access to grass and walk. Totally appreciate comfortable bed, couch, towels and even TP. Kitchen well stocked, extras, like seasoning, coffee was a nice touch. Fast communication and easy access in/out."

"Clean property, quiet neighborhood, has everything you need to cook your meals if you want it. It’s located between Durango and Silverton, close to City Market for needed groceries. Plenty of gas stations.The highlight of our trip was the Train Ride from Durango to Silverton.The weather was beautiful during our stay.Beds are firm, not too comfortable, was not able to enjoy the outdoors much due to tons of mosquitoes, have to spray your self a lot. There were no fish in the little pond in front of the property, Another con was that the biggest lake called Electra Lake you have to pay to get in and it’s per person not per vehicle. I was looking forward to go all the different lakes, however, they are mostly in private property and no access. We wanted an outdoor experience and we felt cheated. Over all we had a good time and we recommended the property,"

"We had SO much fun here! Such a wonderful home with so much thought put into every space. We loved the pool table, hot tub and large decks to go relax on. The scenery is beautiful! The property was super clean and everything is updated which we loved. The kitchen is always super important to us because we love to cook…it had absolutely everything we needed! When I say so much thought and attention has been put into this place, I mean it. The hosts are a delight to work with and I pray we can come back soon! Go check out Silverton while you’re there. The mine tour is super fun- the mill tour we heard wasn’t worth the time. Some great hikes around as well! We stay in cabins frequently and can’t say enough positive things about this one!"
