"Check in was very easy and fast, room was very clean but in the upstairs room it had what appeared to be a pretty big blood stain in the carpet but we paid it no mind. Overall very happy with our stay. "

"Rooms and hotel is under renovations and expect that the future of this establishment will be better. But the work was minimally invasive, light breakfast that was included was a good benefit. Location is awesome for the winter activities in town and nearby skiing and hiking. "

"Spending our Christmas here was super special! Location is great - 5 minutes walking distance to downtown Banner Elk and 20 minutes drive to Sugar or Beech Mountains. The apartment is cozy and well equipped, and the host always replied me when I needed a support. "

"Really great stay. Spacious apartment, clean and well-maintained. All the cooking tools and pots/pans we needed (but bring your own ingredients/condiments, like salt/pepper). Hot tub and pool were well heated and not crowded even over the holidays. Easy access to the mountains. Only note is that the fireplace hasn’t worked since the hurricane — totally understandable, but would have been nice to have that on the listing. Absolutely would stay again!"
