We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. "Incredibly unique, historical property. Beautiful stonework and high ceilings. Right in the heart of the old city. Our room would have accommodated a family, and because the room had two levels, it offered a degree of privacy. Highly recommended."
