"Locations great I booked through Expedia thinking it was an hotel it’s not. Bathroom micro cannot even fit for a shower which is ultra small next to the toilet and I am normal person bigger people will not fit. Photos look good as it could give you a different prospect. No parking spots etc. It was an experience to assure not to do Bnb as this is the second time photos taken show superior aspects."

"Stunning location! I wish we had been able to stay another night and spend a day by the beautiful pool. The drive to Arezzo was short, which allowed for exploring and dinner in the old part of the city!"

"Our short stay could not have been better. After difficulty with our phones and GPS, we arrived to a very gracious Christina and a relaxing stay. The breakfasts we're outstanding. Thank you so much, Christina."

"Our stay was aboslutely wonderful! The house and farm lies high up in the Tuscan hills and we were immersed in lush greenery with a river flowing nearby. "My wife and 3 young (8 and under) children stayed here and we loved it. It was the perfect B&B experience and very child friendly. Mrs Francesca was a sweetheart and prepared amazing cakes and treats for every breakfast. The beautiful property was like an Italian fairy tale and close to many must see sites. "

"Cozy place in nice ambience, close to small historical village. Super friendly team, and also arranged pizza for me even though I had a late 10pm arrival. Great stay!"

"Our stay at Hotel Le Fontanelle was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the property, the breathtaking Tuscan scenery, and the peaceful elegance of the entire resort.
The grounds are absolutely picturesque, the rooms are immaculate and beautifully maintained, and every detail reflects the charm and quality you hope to experience in Tuscany. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff — everyone was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making our visit memorable.
We enjoyed every moment of our stay and honestly did not want to leave. Hotel Le Fontanelle is one of those rare places that creates lasting memories, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic luxury Tuscan experience.
Our only small recommendation would be to improve the WiFi coverage around the pool area, as the connection was very limited. Aside from that minor detail, our experience was absolutely outstanding.
Thank you to the entire Hotel Le Fontanelle team for a wonderful stay — we look forward to returning."
"This hotel is the definition of La Dolce Vita! Starting from the beginning, when first arrived to the hotel, they picked up our bags, showed us around the property and responded any questions that we had. Elisa was amazing! She showed us around the property, he gave us recommendations of where to go in Siena, and was super friendly and welcoming!
The hotel has excellent amenities and everything that you need. The pool is wonderful, and the pool bar is amazing. Excellent service. Their breakfast area is beautiful, and they provide a very diverse breakfast. It was really good! In addition, their restaurant La Tinaia is phenomenal and Michelin star. They have a great wine selection and excellent food.
They also have valet parking service, which is very convenient. All of the staff were very welcoming and nice! Thank you to the pool Bar bartender whose name I cannot recall, and also thanks to Elisa, Virginia, Davide, Asiz, Stefano, and everyone else! You all made our stay wonderful!
The rooms were excellent and very comfortable. Shower was great too. My only comment would be that the A/C was not performing to my expectation for a 5 star hotel. However, I understand that there was a Heat Wave in Europe, and that it is out of their hands. Giancarlo helped us to lower the temp of the A/C, but it still did not work. They provided a fan though, and that helped a lot! Thank you!
The location is excellent! You’re about an hour away from The Mall at Firenze, close to wineries, about a 20"
"Hotel Italia was an absolute gem. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they understood we were tired from traveling with teens and even nailed a salon recommendation that turned out to be the best hair wash of my life, just minutes from the hotel. Our room was spotless, quiet, and the A/C worked perfectly; we didn’t hear a sound from neighbors or stair traffic. The location is a sweet spot — only 5 to 10 minutes from the tourist sights, yet tucked in a local neighborhood with bakeries and grocery stores, giving us that refreshing, peaceful feeling of being disconnected from the tourist rush. Breakfast was amazing, and the little teen-approved Duomo and gelato challenges made exploring even more fun. Bottom line: we’d come back and stay here again in a heartbeat. For anyone visiting Siena, Hotel Italia at Porta Camollia gives you that perfect “live like a local” buffer before diving into the Duomo and Piazza del Campo — and if you need a salon, just ask reception; their pick is solid."
"We had a wonderful stay at Relais Vignale! Our room was wonderful and we had a beautiful terrace. The breakfast was lovely and included and the pool was relaxing. We also used the spa for a morning which we loved before the winery tour we booked through the resort. It made the trip so easy and relaxing and it was nice to cross the street to Dante’s for food and wine and walk around the beautiful little town of Radda. Highly recommend!!"
