"Pleasant staff greeted us, room was ready so were able to check in 2 hours early.Breakfast included which was a nice surprise. Beds are comfy but staying in room 2 is LOUD. You've got the breakfast room below with chairs scraping the floor and people chatting.The main issue with the room is you can literally hear every movement of the person in the room above due to the horribly old creaky floorboards. "A stunning property. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Phenomenal. Unfortunately however the same cannot be said for the dinner and some of the staff. Dinner over priced and poor, when my wife asked for something extra at breakfast the manager laughed in her face. I was also bashed out of the way by a staff member clearly walking around with the hump. A shame as this hotel can be extraordinary. They would do far better with a wholesome menu as I suspect staffing may be a challenge due to...
