"The toilet was blocked when we arrived. It was too late in the night for us to change rooms so didn’t mention to the front desk. We kept flushing and eventually it cleared. We mentioned on check up for them to check it and the person just said it was a slow flushing toilet. We know the difference. He wasn’t interested in what we had to say. When we arrived there was no hygiene sticker on the toilet. Also one of the bath towels was filthy on arrival. The bed was clean, no complaint there. It was a shame that we weren’t listened to and apologised to. "

"Great location in centre of Lichfield. Warm welcome The room was clean and comfortable. A little noisy . Sounds like the cleaners start early. Loved having a bath. Bed although just a double very comfortable. Lighting was poor and missed not having a lamp.Outside view poor overlooking bins."

"Parking was easy with accessibility being very good. Staff were very welcoming. The room was adequately resourced, clean and comfortable. Slight noise from the room above could be heard early in the morning, otherwise was a quiet location. We ate in the restaurant which was very nice indeed. "

"The flat was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Heating by electric panel heaters was efficient and quick to warm the place. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a basket of cereal boxes, biscuits and a jar of sweets. There were also tea bag’s and coffee pods for the machine. The beds were very comfy. All in all a very welcoming and good place to stay. 4 stars not 5 because the heated towel rail didn’t work making the bathroom chilly ( a very cold weekend weather wise) and the WiFi although showing the usual blue bars would not connect whatever we all tried. To be fair, I notified the host about the towel rail but not the WiFi. When ever I contacted Phil the Host he was very quick to reply. "
