"This property is quite old but our room was clean and bed very comfortable. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and very helpful. The beetroot wellington I had for dinner was really tasty. There is plenty of free parking"

"Rooms are very dark. Bathroom has very small standalone shower and bath. Don’t know why they don’t pull out the baths on 2 floors & put in bigger showers."

"The room was clean and spacious. The bed was too soft for my liking and I found it uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a nice room. The hotel is a little run down in places but it has a relaxed atmosphere and never felt busy. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty and there was a great selection of food. We did have to wait for food to be replenished which was a bit disappointing."

"The bar staff need some serious training, terrible service on Saturday evening , staff looked like university students clueless and zero customer service The room was ok, lots of fluff and dust under the bed, no I didn't deliberately check, I dropped something and saw it, the shower cubicle needs a good scrub too! And no fridge in the room!"
