"Ample for what we paid. All working & fit for purpose, though I have trouble with stairs & being on the 2nd floor was a bit of a job as the lift wasn't in action. The sprinkler was hanging off the ceiling, but didn't effect our stay. Quite a noisy room, being directly above the moving bollard but luckily I brought my earplugs so didn't bother me too much."

"I booked the room in the hotel about 4 weeks before the trip and was surprised by a call from the Hotel 48hrs before arrival to offer a free Superior upgrade in their Townhouse building across the adjacent street. Being suspicious I thought there must be a catch but accepted the offer, On arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find a really spacious room with huge shower and bath facilities, soft towels and dressing robes. Enormous television lounge area,Tea/Coffee making etc - overall a good...

"Very disappointing stay. The hotel rooms are very outdated and tired. Bathroom disgusting. On positive note, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast very basic. Overall i would not recommend this hotel at all. There are better hotels for this price. Standards are about 2 stars at its best."

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Tower hotel and spa, the staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is delicious I had the roast lamb dinner both nights of my stay because it was so delicious, I didn’t sleep very well on my first night in the tower and mentioned this to a lovely lady who worked in the restaurant and in no time at all they moved me to another room, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning. "

"Although very slightly a little old fashioned it was excellent. The main asset of this hotel is the staff as every single person we met with was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Probably suits the more mature clientele, which is us, and the entertainment in the evening most likely would get through the auditions on Britain’s Got Talent but this is more than made up for by the staff and delicious food especially breakfasts. "
