Chelsea Charm is for those who enjoy contemporary spaces and an airy bright feeling. The house is bathed in light and is laid out on 4 levels. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this is a perfect choice for couples traveling together or for larger families. For outdoor life head up to the large roof terrace where you can relax and look over the London skyline as you enjoy a glass of wine or a morning cup of coffee.The bathrooms are contemporary and stylish and the apartment oozes class and refinement and has been decorated in a very chic and modern fashion.Please be aware that the steps leading down to the lower floor bedroom are not child or elderly friendly and extreme care would need to be taken when both going up and down the stairs. This bedroom does have French windows on two sides which can be fully opened giving the experience of having the great outdoors actually in your bedroom. Great during the summer months. The nearby Fulham Road with an array of classy shops and restaurants is certainly worth exploring or try a pint at the famous Hollywood Arms which can be your local pub whilst staying in town.The ground floor of Chelsea Charm is where you will spend time relaxing, cooking and just enjoying your time in London. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which makes this the perfect place to come together after a day of visits around London.
From the ground floor, there are stairs leading down to one of the ensuite bedrooms. The bedroom is very comfortable and calm and has direct access to the outside where you can enjoy nature. The bathroom is a full bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Again, the stairs leading to this bedroom are not appropriate for the elderly or very young children. On the first floor, coming up from the living area, are the additional two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and the final bedroom has two twin beds. Finally, a staircase leads you up to the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink or your breakfast or maybe even sunbathe weather permitting!

Realistic and complete information about unit needed

-3rd floor unit, many stairs to the unit -Downstairs neighbor very sensitive to noise-no shoes inside the unit-no dishwasher or clothes washing/drying after 10pm.

Perfect apartment in Chelsea/Earl's Court!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this property in Chelsea/Earl's Court! It's in an ideal location, just a 10 minute walk up one street to the nearest Underground station (Earl's Court) and also very close to Fulham Road (5 minute walk) which has a lot of shops, restaurants, pubs, bakeries and grocery stores. The property itself was exactly as listed and had all that we needed for our "home base" while visiting London with our three teenagers. I would highly recommend this property for cleanliness, amenities and convenience and look forward to staying again on a future visit!

There was not a written list of instructions, so had lots of trouble working things. You need this if we are to have an enjoyable time.

Perfect for our 2week stay

Our family of 5 (two parents, 3 young adult children) was very happy with this flat. The location in Chelsea was a 15 minute walk from Earls Court tube station, 3-4 minutes from convenient bus stops, 3 minutes from a good grocery store, and 10-25 minutes from a wide variety of restaurants. The flat and all provided linens were clean upon arrival, though it was somewhat difficult to keep it clean during our stay. There is a mostly-working vacuum cleaner provided but no broom, no cleansers, toilet cleaners, or cleaning rags. This is no problem for a 4-5 day stay, but 2 weeks of 5 active people living together requires some ability to sweep crumbs, wipe up counters, quick-clean bathrooms, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well laid out and comfortable. As stated elsewhere, the stairs to the lower bedroom can be dangerous. Really not stairs. More like a ship’s ladder. It was fine for us because we put the nimble young adults down there. We stayed in this non-air conditioned flat during London’s record 104F/40C temperatures and it was rough for the hottest 1-2 days. We were very grateful for how quickly Nick was able to provide us with a new fan and have nothing but the highest marks for how responsive he was during our entire check-in and stay. We would definitely stay in the flat in the future and will recommend it to friends.

Spacious, bright and modern

Clean and comfortable, this rental is an easy walk (10-15 minutes) from the Earl's Court tube station, which provides quick access to Heathrow, Wimbledon and downtown. There are a lot of stairs, both to get into the apartment and within the apartment itself. The many windows make it nice and bright on sunny mornings. Really enjoyed having a nice coffee on the rooftop deck.

London jubilee!!

Excellent stay, Chelsea was beautiful and quiet and convenient! Master bedroom bed was a cloud, very comfortable. A little trouble with the hot water but could have been our problem. Need more glassware, such a minor thing. Thanks for wonderful stay

A lovely spot

The flat was beautifully appointed and decorated and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is superb — steps away from stores and food options yet set off the main road and completely quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect home base for our family with three separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Highly recommend!

Critique

We are one of the three couples that rented this flat. We stayed for almost eight days. We arrived to find the place clean and ready for us. Do not discount the amount of effort it takes to tote your luggage from the street all the way up to the fourth floor and then the upper or lower level of the flat. If you have heavy luggage or, you are not physically fit, good luck. We stayed in the lower level bedroom and as noted in the VRBO description the stairs are not child or elderly friendly and you do need to use extreme care. The steps are very small, just slightly larger than one of the magazines I was reading, one step, one foot. You will be challenged getting your luggage up or down these stairs. The lower bedroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. The main issue we encountered after getting down to the bedroom was that the electric shade (one of two shades in the room) at the foot of the bed was not functional and the blinds inside the doors would not close. This was brought to the attention of Nick via email on the day of our arrival with no response. I was not able to figure out how to change the channel on the TV. There were numerous remotes in addition to the two electric shade remotes but, only the volume and on / off were functional. The same situation was encountered on the living room TV. The kitchen area included a small combination washer and dryer suitable for one large bath towel. When staying the length of time we did and receiving no replacement towels, we needed to use the machine. We soon learned that if you use the machine after ten pm the down stairs tenant will angrily bang on your door insisting that you stop. We misjudged the machine completion time and at 10:05 pm we again were confronted with the aggressive banging on the door. We were also confronted by a different neighbor when were arrived back at 10:15pm for talking to loud in the stairway. This place is convenient to walk to Fulham road, with stores, places to eat and the bus nearby. Given the stairs and the neighbors, I would not book this place again.
