"Bugs underneath seat cushions, stains on bedding, smells, not ideal."

"When we got there, EVERYTHING was broke, from the elevator, the pool, the hot tub, the ice machine,& the vending machines. And we paid for the amenities. And the man at the desk told us the elevator was out, we would have to take the stairs, our room would be on the 3rd floor, it only had three floors(By the way I take breathing treatments). Didn't give us any money back or ask if we would like different accommodations for the elevator being out, just told us to use the back door, & other guests told us if we wanted we could go next door to the other motel & use their pool. Our room was never cleaned the three days we stayed there, the table in our room was broke so we couldn't eat together at the table, my husband had to go downstairs & ask for more towels because we ran out, my husband told them the accommodations wasn't working for us, the lady at the desk told him there was nothing she could do, we had to report it to the corporate office, but didn't give him a number. We had to use the trash can outside because we ran out of room in the one in our room. There was leftover food in the refrigerator from the guests before us. But yet when we checked out we were asked several times if we wanted to leave housekeeping a tip. If I was you & was planning a getaway, I would run very fast from this place, it is beautiful outside, the pictures & what they say on online are very deceiving that is why we picked them, you are not getting what it shows online!!."

Lakeside Grove Cottage - Perfect Lakeside Village/Beach Location

"I enjoyed staying here so much. The host is gracious and you can tell fond family memories have been made here throughout the years. There is more here than the pictures suggest. The yard is great and the proximity to the beach is top notch. For those that know the area, I'm happy to report that Flagship fish market is alive and well under new ownership. Book your stay here. I certainly hope to be back again soon."

"Good place to stay — simple, clean, and friendly. If you need a clean place for a night without luxury expectations, this works perfectly. The breakfast was basic, so don’t expect anything elaborate. Overall, I’m very particular about cleanliness, and I had no issues eating breakfast there, taking a shower, or sleeping comfortably in the bed. Very pleased with my stay."

"First the hotel was clean our room needed to be more clean so we requested it to be cleaned with new sheets and bedding, the stuff was extra nice when asked for our room to be cleaned again because the cleaning stuff didn’t it do a great job and I did speak to the manager and they took care it of right away, the breakfast was okay not great they ran out of food and only one person was working with the breakfast she did bring out more food tho but not great options tho , would like to see more variety but it was okay ! Overall experience I would say about 7 out of 10 !"
