"I went to Leicester to see the Richard III museum, which was excellent. What I saw of the town itself was quite dirty my daughter did not feel safe walking to a restaurant a little distance from our hotel. HOWEVER, the hotel was excellent. Extremely clean, large room, very quiet and quite comfortable. The staff were wonderful."

An Elizabethan & Jacobean Improprietor's House it is believed to be the oldest house in the Vale of Belvoir. It is undergoing much needed restoration. The grave stone in the foreground is for two children who died within days of each other at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The brother, aged 4, died first and the sister, aged 6, a day later. The gravestone doesn't say what they died of.
