"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"Myself and 2 family members chose the Aalsmeer houseboat to explore Amsterdam and Keukenhof gardens. The houseboat is super cute. It’s a 35 minute walk to the bus station and we took an Uber for 10 euros because it was raining. Then bus to Hoofddorp to catch a train to Schiphol airport then on to Amsterdam Centraal station. "Fantastic hotel. Beautifully decorated, perfectly located to local attractions & very friendly staff. Only reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5 is the beds. We had to switch rooms bc the king was so uncomfortable & the next rooms bed was barely better. Highly suggest getting a room with the large soaking tub. "
