"The place was very clean. Pools only open from 9 to 9, so you aren’t allowed in them to see a sunrise or a proper sunset. The restaurant is pretty pricey. Thursday night there was a very loud band that played until 10pm!!! Very annoying in a place that is to be used for relaxation. We would not return."

"This is lovely older home with an amazing deck and hot tub on the river. The beds were super comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect location for hiking, biking and kayaking. We hiked to Agnes Vaille falls and went to the St. Elmo ghost town. We mountain biked from downtown Buena Vista and hiked along the river. We kayaked twin lakes and spent a day in Leadville which has an amazing history and finally we hiked Huron Peak which is considered one of the most beautiful 14ers. We could not have picked a better location and to top it off there is a very nice indoor/outdoor restaurant on the river called “The Beach” within walking distance to the house."

"A beautiful location with amazing views of the Chalk Cliffs and in close proximity to several hiking trails and hot springs. Although, why visit the hot springs when you have your own private pool and spa? Absolutely loved the visit here."

"We had such a wonderful stay and cannot say enough good things about both the home and host! From the very beginning, communication was absolutely fantastic. Lisa was incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to provide recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and local spots to explore, which truly made our trip even more special.The home itself was very clean, comfortable, and inviting. It was clear the owners put effort into making sure guests have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. This is easily one of the better places we have stayed and we truly appreciated how accommodating and attentive she was throughout our visit.The location was also excellent, close to town and within easy driving distance to some really beautiful sites and activities. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient while still giving us a relaxing place to come back to at the end of the day.Overall, we had a great experience and genuinely appreciated the kindness and hospitality shown during our stay. We would absolutely recommend this property to others looking for a place that has it all!"
