"The place was very clean. Pools only open from 9 to 9, so you aren’t allowed in them to see a sunrise or a proper sunset. The restaurant is pretty pricey. Thursday night there was a very loud band that played until 10pm!!! Very annoying in a place that is to be used for relaxation. We would not return."

"A beautiful location with amazing views of the Chalk Cliffs and in close proximity to several hiking trails and hot springs. Although, why visit the hot springs when you have your own private pool and spa? Absolutely loved the visit here."

"The kitchen is great but they only have non stick pots and pans that are well worn and flakes of non stick chemicals could get in your food. Bed is small but it’s cozy. Great shower. Comfortable furniture and was adorably decorated. Patio outback with fenced area for pets. I saw several hummingbirds, and other various birds. Limited parking area but it is a cozy small cabin. It would be a great place for a honeymoon."

"Cozy, remote, and quiet cabin. Perfect mountain view. The perfect getaway. Cabin was clean and fully equipped. Host texted us to be sure our check in went smoothly. Did not expect that but we greatly appreciated it. Would definitely book again."

"Excellent vacation spot with beautiful river view from our cabin. Spotless and well maintained inside and out. Hosts were extremely friendly and easy to work with. And we really appreciated that they were pet friendly allowing us to bring our Golden Retriever with us. We hope to return!"

"We stayed here to get eloped in private and it was perfect. The cabin itself is so cute, rustic and romantic all at the same time. It is gorgeous and the wide open space its on gives an amazing view of the mountains. I wish we were able to stay here for more than a weekend, it was just so lovely. We got married here and I am so glad we did.The cabin is clean, the hot tub is great. The description is accurate - the photos dont do enough justice. It's so much more beautiful in person. The cabin is small but just perfect for 2. I would love to stay here again to enjoy the little town of Salida a little more."

"The cabin is adorable and the view is spectacular. I loved the sound of the creek just down from the place. The kitchen is well stocked and the shower has plenty of power. The wood burning stove was easy to use and made it extra cozy. My only complaint is the queen bed was a little too firm. It was a lovely weekend away. "
