"We, a group of 70-somethings, were given rooms on the second floor with no elevators. Would have been thoughtful to give us ground floor rooms so that we wouldn't need to lug our luggage and other things for five days up the stairs. One of our group had to take the stairs one at a time. The pool was almost unusable because it had so much chlorine. The housekeepers were excellent for us but lousy for our relatives across from us."

"My favorite stay in Salida. Very dog friendly. Medium sized property with clean rooms and a great vibe. A must for people traveling with dogs. I stay here a couple of times a year, always enjoy my time. Very conveniently located right on US 50, but, very quiet at night. Great firepit patio. I saw a couple of deer and some raccoons wandering through the property. Highly recommended."

"This was a lovely cabin on a beautiful property. The night sky was unbeatable with the full milky way visible to the naked eye. Great location for our purposes to be close to the mountains and trails, but still not too far from town for food."

"thankfully the property was beautiful, clean & easily accessible as described by host. there were many items left broken listed below:the lid to the coffee pot barely stays on .the dishwasher door falls openthe right wooden knob to the closet in the master bedroom comes off when used.the screen door to the sliding glass door falls offa decorative garden knome in the fenced area of the yard was smashedthe fence had several holes in it where our dog could get out.the entire upstairs was roped off deneying us access. the only other thing i would recommend mentioning in the ad is that there is no air conditioning. i know that is common in colorado. (but us from out of state are not used to it)."

"What a beautiful experience!From the time Katie welcomed us until the time we departed, home was "a cabin" but modern with light, amazing wood & decor. Multiple outside spaces to relax. The sounds of the river and trees were so soothing.We can't wait to come back when we can spend even more time in this magical retreat."

"A little piece of Mountain Heaven!!! The cabin is very clean and comfortable, and has all the amenities you need for a mountain vacation. The property is beautiful and peaceful with towering trees and a creek flowing right out the back door. Great location!!! I will definitely be booking this cabin again!!!"
