"The location is great if you want to take advantage of downtown Salida and monarch pass. The property is fantastic with plenty of room to sleep 8 people, a great back deck, and grill. The deck furniture was great and has a nice view of the sunset. The kitchen is also big enough to prepare a decent meal. It does get warm in the unit during the daytime summer heat with only two small AC units but has plenty of ceiling fans and cools off at night. The host Lisa provides great service and quick response times. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Lisa!"

Relax at Aspen Creek- Private Hot Tub

"thankfully the property was beautiful, clean & easily accessible as described by host. there were many items left broken listed below:the lid to the coffee pot barely stays on .the dishwasher door falls openthe right wooden knob to the closet in the master bedroom comes off when used.the screen door to the sliding glass door falls offa decorative garden knome in the fenced area of the yard was smashedthe fence had several holes in it where our dog could get out.the entire upstairs was roped off deneying us access. the only other thing i would recommend mentioning in the ad is that there is no air conditioning. i know that is common in colorado. (but us from out of state are not used to it)."

TATA River Cabin: The Salida Cabin - Relax and Unwinde

"We loved it...cute cabins, beautiful setting-pond, river, meadow, mountain view, very quiet, peaceful mornings at the pond.We had a bull moose come visit-so handsome in his velvet, curious yet cautious. Bucket list check mark for me!Great host. Looks like he is remodeling one cabin at a time...we will be back!"

Inviting and Relaxing-Cliffs and Streams!

"I absolutely loved this cabin. The photos didn’t do it justice. It was so cozy and welcoming with everything you needed! From the fireplace to the popcorn maker to the kitchen supplies to the coffee, it made for relaxing a few days. The upstairs bedroom was a bit warm even with Rocky Mountain air-conditioning because it was a heat wave, but the rooms downstairs were very cool and comfortable! We also loved all the games and books and wished we could’ve stayed longer!! My only complaint was the sheer number of communications before the stay both from Vrbo and from the rental companies site. It made it feel very overwhelming and like I was going to miss something that I needed to read."

"A little piece of Mountain Heaven!!! The cabin is very clean and comfortable, and has all the amenities you need for a mountain vacation. The property is beautiful and peaceful with towering trees and a creek flowing right out the back door. Great location!!! I will definitely be booking this cabin again!!!"

"Incredible place for a mountain getaway. The location is close to a wide range of activities including hiking and rafting. The property was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the pool was lovely. Would definitely come back!"
