"The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. I love staying here—this is my second time at this hotel. It seems to be my go-to hotel now whenever I’m in New York. I also like that the location is very central and easy access to many restaurants and one train to JFK from Grand central station which is a few minutes walk away "

"I traveled alone, and arrived at 6am, so they checked my bag, and I went exploring until my room was ready, staff very accommodating. This hotel is old, and could use an update, the room didn’t have any creatures scurrying about, which was nice because I’m not use to sharing a bed with bugs. I’m a theatre goer, and this hotel is located on the same block with three theaters. All in all I’d stay here again"

"My favorite aspect of the property is it's location, the lobby is also very cool and the staff were all super pleasant. Since I was on a lower floor, I didn't experience any of the noise problems others have commented on. I appreciated that there are two sets of windows, one is specifically to minimize street sound, which it did. While my room was pretty tiny, I think that's the norm in NYC and it was all I needed since I was rarely in it. My only complaints are small things like a better mattress pad would be cool, bigger, fluffier towels and a fridge that I could put things in. My mini-bar fridge was never re-stocked, during my stay, which would have been nice for a late night bubbly water. But, I'd stay here again!"
