"Property was not clean"

"Upon check-in there was a mixup with our room. And apparently others. We got the room straightened out but then someone walked into our room 30 min later. Always verify your bed assignments before signing and getting a room number. A plus, it’s graduation weekend and we got a welcome gift and a full weekend itinerary of events just for guests. That was great planning and a nice touch. Sadly, The Tv didn’t work in the room and there were only 2 towels. This may not be a huge deal breaker but for the price of 600+ a night this should be below basic. There were 2 beds and 3 people. 4 towels should be minimum. The food and service at Catbird was excellent. The pizza is very good. I wish I could remember all the names but Maddie was upstairs and in the restaurant the next day and she’s the best. Food in the restaurant was ok. I think this is a perfect location for Longwood U or just to walk Historic Farmville. However, for the price I will choose elsewhere next time. "

"I don’t know if the walls are just super thin or not but you could literally hear everything. We could hear the rooms beside us, just casual talking, toilet flushing, walking, and we could hear every single footstep and doors opening and closing all night long. Room was very small as well. Barely had any room to move around."
