"The room was great with very good toilet and bathroom facilities. The location was also great as was a short walk to the top of Taksim where you can start your day and access many parts of Istanbul. They also provide pick up and collection from airport as well as excellent, partnered Hammam service. Overall for the price I paid the value is incredible. "

"The Westin is a new property with efficient and attentive staff. The rooms are the standard Westin, comfortable, clean and well appointed, but nothing special. People in Turkey are warm and welcoming and this is reflected in the service the staff provides. The area around the hotel is not as upscale as Istanbul's residential areas or the area around the cruise port and Modern Art museum, but it's good, with lots and lots of shopping at various price points and a small shopping mall next to the hotel with varied restaurant and coffee shop options. The subway is literally at the hotel's doorsteps and the green line takes you directly to the University station with a relatively long walk or a 5 minute tram ride to the Hagia Sophia and the tourist area around it. Istanbul has efficient taxi service that you can reserve through Uber, nice restaurant options are a 10 minute taxi ride away."
