The Babcock House exceeded my expectations. The room and amenities were top shelf. The breakfast was delicious and healthy each day. The dinners were up there with any other exclusive city restaurant. It appeared that the chef used a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients to create his dinners. This bed and breakfast is one of the best I have stayed at.

The Gin Hotel is a must stay again for me. The Gin is a unique hotel in a 100yr old building right in downtown Lexington. It was quiet, clean, safe and all of the staff were awesome. I grew up in the area but haven't returned in a couple of decades. Downtown Lexington has transformed into a great place to walk around, shop, eat and have a few drinks. The only negatives I would give is parking is tight for modern vehicles and the mattress was firmer than my taste... but that's personal...

We had an excellent stay. We were nervous because the price was reasonable but we ended up extremely happy once we arrived. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was accommodating and even better, the restaurant attached to the hotel was great. This was our second stay since the hotel opened. They rooms and facilities including the restaurant is very nice and the food and bar are great. Above all the staff is top notch! They are all kind, courteous and very helpful. They even had the shuttle employee extend his work hours on a Friday night to pick us up from a concert that a few of the guests were attending.
