"The house is beautifully located and the views from the terrace are stunning. It is a small but very lovely stone house with all the necessary comfort and with a lot of charme. The very steep road to get there and the narrow entrance to the parking space required some getting used to, but after a few days this was not worth a thought anymore (but we were happy to have a mini SUV...). We were very pleased and would come back again anytime."

"Very charming place, with excellent location. Easy to walk to the city center, but yet a little outside, thus calm at night. Very friendly host when we met him in the driveway. Small communication issues in the beginning via sms, until weunderstood that we should use whats app. "

"Pros: Had a wonderful time in your Beach House! The views were more beautiful than I ever imagined. Family had one of our favorite vacations. Cons: Showers need immediate repair. First bedroom shower downstairs was stopped up and the pan filled with water. The other 2 bedroom showers leaked and flooded the bathroom floors. A little repair would make a big difference."

"In a word, fabulous. The villa is located in a very quiet area, the stay was in perfect peace (the occasional and distant dog barking is not disturbing at all and the neighbors' dogs are completely calm). It's almost a miracle that the villa is also a few minutes drive from the centre of Funchal, also a large supermarket with groceries, meat, fish and everything you need and also a great starting point for any trip. "No sun on property all day, noise from chicken farm 24/7 property damp internally, owner did come and remove mosquitos from the covered area very quickly which allowed us to cook outside without being bitten"

"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well. The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. There are plenty of great restaurants close to the hotel, all reasonably priced and served up good food options. Overall I’d recommend this facility. "
