"Inn is perfectly situated within the walls of Caernarfon Castle, convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff are uniformly friendly and welcoming. My room (#34) was in an old building but had been completely modernized inside, including the bathroom. Room was immaculate and had plenty of well-located electrical outlets. Bed and linens were comfortable. Couldn't find a thermostat but HVAC seemed to be centrally controlled. It was nice and cozy by day and cooled down by bedtime; ditto for the heated towel rack. Breakfast was tasty and came quickly, accompanied by a big smile. Cold items were help-yourself and hot foods cooked to order. Dining room breathed history, as did the bar. Dinner was piping hot and tasty. "

"I arrived from London on the motorcycle and had a warm welcome with a lovely comfortable bed and a very good bathroom with a top class shower. Sadly I arrived too late for their delicious menu as the kitchen closes early on Sunday. But I will be back very soon as I have moved near Chester and Bala is only miles away. Highly recommended.
