"The property locates on the top of some hills. By looking out of the windows, you will get a panoramic view of the valley underneath which is amazing. All rooms are spacious and each bedroom has individual bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped. The kids enjoyed the pool a lot. The only thing we do not like is that the resort does not have air conditioning. We sometimes woke up during midnight by the Tuscany summer heat. "We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible. "Lovely property in a fantastic location far from the Madding Crowd, not that we found a crowd anywhere we visited. The only problem we encountered was the aggressive mosquitoes which stopped us using the pool. Other than that it was a great week away."

"The Brufani is one of the oldest hotels in Perugia. The location is very centrally located, yet up on the Hill so not too congested. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And stay there again. Perugia is a great base to stay and do trips around the Umbrian region. Simply Stunning and less crowds than Tuscany. "
