"This is a lovely, updated home in a fantastic location to use as base for Tuscan/ Umbrian day trips. The town of Camucia has all conveniences, many within walking distance including groceries, restaurants and the train station (@ 10 min). Cortona is a short drive up the hill. We spent most evenings in the house and really appreciated the comfortable living area. The kitchen was well equipped for any meal but we mainly used it for morning coffee/breakfast. It was too early in the season to use...

"It was only for a week but living there was a pleasure. Nearby towns had lots of interesting places to visit and good restaurants. The house itself was well fitted especially the kitchen which suited self catering groups as there are no restaurants within walking distance for those who like to drink with their evening meal. "Stayed for 4 nights on part of a long gal pal trip to France & Italy. This place was simple extraordinary . Starting each day with a breakfast that had every imaginable food options to suit your style. No lunch needed after feasting in style. Happy hour could not have been better, the cocktails were a work of art, as were the complimentary appetizers! Each day we thought we would try some other restaurant in Cortona, but ultimately always chose to eat in the dinning room, and we were never disappointed. The wine, food, service, ...all outstanding. Oh my, the rooms, sheer indulgence, the views, the linens, the daily treats left for our enjoyment, the accessories, space & lighting options in the powder room. The ambiance of this hotel, combined with the staff, made our stay memorable indeed. I hope to be lucky enough to return!"
