"We checked in on Thursday Feb 26th. As we walked down the hall you could smell a moldy musky smell. I felt water drip on me and looked up and there was a hole cut in the ceiling like 4' by 4' with water dripping and what looked like mold around the hole. There was a 2nd similar hole just down the hall from the 1st. I assume they were trying to fix the issue, but you could see what looked like moldy and a strong musky smell. We went up the elevator and got to the room which had the same moldy smell to it. By this time my wife was already coughing. The bed sheets and pillow cases were not clean. We walked back down stairs and checked out. I had ordered through expedia and both parties basically said it was too late to cancel and that I wouldn't get a refund for the next few days I had paid for. We left and stayed elsewhere"

"Overall great stay. The room was very nice with an ocean view and comfortable bed. The pool area and beach access were convenient and quite nice. There were some issues that had me knock it down a star- our room’s mini fridge had food from the past guest still in it which grossed me out. The bathrooms near the pool outside were consistently dirty so much that I started going inside to the lobby bathroom instead. The worst part was that it was always hard to get good pool chairs. Most of the nice ones along the pool were reserved for paid rentals which mostly went unused all day. There are simply not enough regular use chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests them to be reserving a couple dozen chairs a shady spots for outsiders to come in and rent. They charge a hefty resort fee so chairs and umbrellas should be a given. I am pregnant and to not have a spot in the shade was a problem for me. The included breakfast was fine but it was the exact same every day, nothing mixed up at all, so it was really monotonous. That being said there’s not much in the area so it was convenient to have on site. The food at the beach bar restaurant was fine but incredibly overpriced — but you’re paying for the location! It was quiet and not crawling with spring breakers like the Condado are was, which was nice. You do have to uber pretty much everywhere from this hotel- which we didn’t mind because we wanted a quieter area! Easy airport access too."

"Our ocean view room was very nice - would have been 5 stars if the window were able to open even a little to allow the ocean air and sounds in. Overall, a very comfortable stay. "

"We booked an ocean view balcony premiere room but was placed in a garden view room because we arrived a day late due to flight delays/weather, then we had no hot water for showering until we were placed in the original room we booked a day later, they did give us credit for good and beverages and a night free but are still waiting for the refund…. The property is spectacular and staff polite. "
