"We absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful and in the perfect location—close enough to Waikīkī to easily enjoy everything it has to offer, but far enough away to escape the traffic and crowds. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with both the ocean and Diamond Head Crater right outside our windows. Our host truly thought of everything. The property was incredibly well equipped, and it felt like every little detail had been considered to make our stay comfortable and easy. We had everything we could possibly need and felt right at home from the moment we arrived.This was such a special place to stay during our trip to Oʻahu, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"This was a great hotel for a first time trip to Hawaii as a solo traveler. The restaurant and beach chair amenities are great, and it has a private beach feel. I did not miss a pool at all. There is a park on one side and it’s nice to not be enclosed by another hotel. Would visit again!"

"From the moment I booked this property I knew it was the absolute right choice. With all the pre arrival messages to the host and their extremely rapid responses to the smooth check-in, i would have to recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the diamond head area. Parking was a little difficult at times, but if you don't want to walk a short distance there is a ton of meter paid parking available. The room is small, but we were only there to sleep, shower and eat so it was plenty spacious for our needs. We even got to meet the owner of the property as we checked out and he was such a pleasant person to chat with. When we return it has already been determined that I will rent this property again. Rating 10 out of 10!!.."

"A nice place to land after a day on the island! The room is as advertised, clean and had more than expected in way of location and quietness (other then Friday night, to be expected). The location is outside of the busy Waikiki tourist area, yet an easy walk there or to Diamond Head. Good coffee shops just a few minutes walk, on the bus line, and mostly friendly area for single travelers and groups. Good price for very clean studio unit, with a nice oceanfront sitting area for guests."

"We had an amazing stay at the Lotus! Staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The resort was just far enough out of the hustle and bustle but easy to access Waikīkī. The amenities were easy to use, the living room was incredible especially for us while the tropical storm took over the island. Definitely recommend staying at the Lotus."

A Gem of a Studio at The Diamond Head Beach Hotel

"What a perfect location! Only a short 10-15 minute walk to Waikiki. No need for a car. We walked or took an Uber everywhere - much more cost efficient than a rental car especially with the cost of parking! A convenience store -Russell’s - is very close by and has everything you need for breakfast and lunch items - and much more. We highly recommend The Barefoot Beach Cafe which is very close for meals from breakfast through dinner. They have live music every night. Our favorite is the group that plays Hawaiian music every Friday evening starting at 5:30. The unit, although a bit dated, was very functional and had lots of drawer space for clothes, a comfortable sofa and a very comfortable bed. I loved sitting in the lounge chairs on the lawn every morning reading and looking out at the ocean. The host Mark was very responsive to any questions we had and Patrick at the front desk was wonderful! He is a font of knowledge about everything Hawaiian and so very kind and helpful. He even helped when we had trouble finding the right channel for the Super Bowl; he was able to get the channel for us quickly. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come back. We hope to!!! This place is well named and truly is a Gem of a Studio!!"
