"We were on the City view side. A hotel or condos building g across the street was having construction the whole time & our room was very noisy from it. As Leo the glass sliding door was our of line so it didn’t shut good."

"We enjoyed our one-night stay on property! The staff was awesome - front desk, valet, housekeeping, Swell bar & pool staff & DJ! The room was clean for the most part, with the exception of the two molded dresser drawers that were closest to the fridge. If we were staying multiple nights, I would have requested to change rooms because we typically unpack our luggage and use the drawers. But because of our quick stay we were ok it. The view of the ocean & diamond head was also amazing! The food, drinks & festive music at the pool side was extra fun! Cold li hing mui pineapple chunks to snack on was a perfect treat! Love the vibe at Swell! Mahalo nui for taking such good care of kanaka! "

"Zack, the host, was readily available and responsive to our questions and requests. We were surprised to find that the access to another unit in the complex was across our patio which was right outside our living area. It was awkward to have strangers coming and going so close to our living quarters and I think this should be disclosed in the rental information. The unit is dated and worn.The kitchen is haphazardly equipped, with old cookware, chipped dishes, a mishmash of wine glasses and cooking utensils. Furnishings were fine, as were beds. The 2nd bathroom down one flight to the pool deck was labeled for our unit, but I think was also used by other renters. I know Hawaii continues to get more and more expensive, but we felt this unit was overpriced for the above stated reasons. "

"First time on oahu! The house is in a great location right across from the beach. My husband and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely return. If renting a vehicle, I would recommend maybe a compact due to tight parking."

"Shari was very kind, communicated very well and had the place in great shape. You cannot beat having one of the best beach’s steps away, was very soothing listening to the waves as you went to sleep and waking up in the morning and watching the sunrise. "

"We enjoyed our 5 day stay and especially enjoyed the use of the pool and all the different pool toy equipment. The extras like beach towels and ice chest were also appreciated. The home was clean, spacious and well equipped for our party of 6. The only suggestion is to have at least one extra toilet paper roll in each bathroom, an extra paper towel roll and hand soap for all the sinks. The neighborhood was quiet and the yard was beautiful. Contacting the owners by text made communication easy."

"Hubby and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on Oahu and were very fortunate to have stayed in La Bella’s Honu (Turtle) Suite! The Honu Suite was cozily put together with a lot of care and thought to make the stay relaxing. All of the basic needs in the bathroom, kitchen area, and sleeping space were provided. Suite was very clean and smelled fresh! I loved the left and right windows of the front door that can be opened up for the fresh Hawaiian air to fill the room. The Honu Suite’s cranking casement and awning windows are definitely a nice touch. The bed was comfortable along with quality bedding, fell asleep fairly quick after being out and about on the beautiful island of Oahu. Breakfast was always fresh and fulfilling! In spite of Mokapu Road being a busy stretch, the location is quiet. The Honu Suite spot is minutes from the base which, as a retired military family, is very helpful for grocery needs as well as recreational assistance. Castle’s beach is a nice short walk or bike ride from the suite. Shopping center right across the bed and breakfast is very convenient. I did enjoy the chickens that comfortably roam on the grass area and trees near Starbucks.The hosts, Shannon & Gabriel, are very welcoming and provided exceptional attention to our needs. Very friendly! Communication was on point. They were attentive to our questions and provided great local recommendations as well as tips to help our stay more enjoyable and worthwhile. "
