"The property was clean with lovely views of vineyards and fields; beds were comfortable and kitchen was well provisioned with tools needed for cooking. The wrap around deck was lovely, and would have been a great place to veg, had it not been a chilly wet weekend! We highly recommend."

"The property is charming! The backyard overlooking the fields is very picturesque at sunrise and sunset. The property is close to town which was very convenient. The property is close to one of the main roads into town so you can hear every car that drives by. But overall, this was perfect for our trip (we even saw a black bear cub while driving into town). We would definitely book again if we ever find ourselves back in Kalkaska. "

"Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Even Better the Second Time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was my second time staying here, and once again, it was an outstanding experience! The hotel is spotless, with a true luxury feel from the moment you walk in. The service is top-notch—every staff member I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can really tell the team takes pride in their work. One of the loveliest touches: they offer free cookies and cinnamon buns at 7 AM and 7 PM—a small gesture that makes a big difference and adds to the homey, thoughtful vibe. Free parking is another great bonus, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and upscale. I felt truly cared for throughout my stay. Can’t wait to come back again!"
