"The apartment itself was great and clean, and the hosts were very nice. They were also very responsive and had good communication with us.This booking is through an agency which charges additional fees for late check-ins (they charged us 80 extra euros for arriving at 11:30pm.) They had no option for a lock box or self check-in. Additionally, they charged us a 600 euro security deposit, and an an additional 65 euro tax. This was all ok but we were not aware of this when booking. They also had...

"We were for 10 days with three children. The apartment is big enough, well prepared and comfortable. My children broke an old ikea lamp. The Manager told me that the lamp is approximately two years old and told the price from that time. So she decided to keep the same price from the deposit. She couldn’t find the bill of buying the lamp which I need for the insurance. I offered her to buy a new similar one from ikea and send me a bill. She refused that. Positiv was: the Apartment was clean and...

Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d'Albion

10/10 Excellent

"Great location, a clean room, and very friendly staff."

Comfort Aparthotel Cannes Mandelieu

8/10 Good

"Large nicely air conditioned room with good size shower room and a little kitchenette. It’s a dog-friendly property which is awesome. Plenty of room in the underground carpark! The reception hours are limited, as advertised. Unfortunately, the “out of hours” number listed was not in operation. We needed to leave very early and forgot that we would need a key to access the carpark. We left the keys in our room (absolutely our error; we should have taken them at that stage and then dropped them in a discreet little drop box on exiting the carpark) and closed the door before realizing we couldn’t get to our car. There was nobody around and the out of hours number had a recording to try again later. We sat outside until the reception staff arrived and helped us out. It wasn’t the end of the world but would have been dramatic had we left something essential or had a flight to catch. Limited reception hours even in high season are one thing; not answering the phone is not acceptable. We recommend the property as good value for a motel experience, especially if you’re travelling with a pet. But learn from our lesson about early departure!"
