"My husband and I spent a week at this lovely apartment in Vence. We were happy to find it very walkable to town. The road was definitely uphill but only about a 15 minute walk. The view from the apartment and the terrace was beautiful! The bed was comfortable and the apartment was well appointed. Vence is charming and perfectly located for day trips. "Although it's not walking distance from old town Nice, you can't beat the relaxing view. Public transportation was easy to access and figure out. The apartment itself was older, but it had everything we needed for our stay. My husband got sick and stayed inside most of the time but he did enjoy the TV time and view. Basic necessities were helpful, including the grocery cart, umbrellas and beach mat."

Margareta is a very attentive host and does everything to help your stay. perhaps the place would need some renovation but those are coming soon. "The pool and sauna hours for the hotel were relatively long so that was helpful because after a day out, you can use them. The sauna was well maintained and even included a shower. The hotel staff were helpful but had very short working hours so always had to wait full day to ask a question if anything happened in the evening. "I chose this hotel because besides that it was close to the Nice Airport it offered free airport transfer. This was perfect since my flight was at 6.30 am. The walk to terminal 2 at 4.30 am would not have been very pleasant. The hotel is great, very clean comfortable beds, bar, restaurant etc. 5 stars , best hotel on my 2 week stay in France "
