"This is the better LOTTE hotel in the city. Central in Hongdae, excellent views. The feel of the hotel is definitely on the younger side, as in it would appeal to a younger audience (millennial or Gen Z. The hotel has good amenities, a restaurant and plentiful public spaces to relax or work. The rooms are small, at least the double we booked was on the smaller size, common for a big city. Generally the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, the bathroom is small but the shower is large and well appointed. Lots of considered amenities in the room to make the stay comfortable. Overall satisfactory, clean, modern and some thought has gone into what would appeal for the audience they are looking to attract."

"very convenient location, only steps away from the shopping street & lots of eateries nearby. we were upgraded to a bigger room which was spacious enough for two pp. Staff there were friendly & polite with very fluent in english. Will definite stay here again next time when i visit Seoul !"

"This is a cute and cozy hotel with a simple bed/shower/desk/tv private room that opens to a shared kitchen, 24hr espresso machine, snacks, washer & dryer and very friendly staff. There’s no elevator to the 3rd floor location but the very sweet lady and very nice man carried my bags up and down the stairs when I arrived and left. They go above and beyond good service. The location is convenient to Hongdae street and Hongkik subway station. I will be staying again. "

"Elevated youth hostel at best. Next to no amenities (No hand soap in the bathroom?? No closet / anywhere to hang clothes. No slippers. Front desk only available until 10pm. No toiletries if you forgot yours) House keeping only available if your stay is 7+ days A 10min walk to Hongdae station so its a quieter area."

"We had a suite (1602) and while I appreciate the size of the room (although I thought we were getting a bigger room based on the pictures) the building is old. Bathroom had mold, tub jets didn’t work and several places where it just clearly needed an update. Bigger issue the elevator literally closed on my arm. As we’re headed downstairs to check out with our several pieces of luggage, the doors just don’t stay open for long and with it being older the sensor doesn’t work very well. "The property: very clean including shared bathroom and shower. There is a smell like other reviewers mentioned but it's subtle. Location: convenient but also very noisy. Music lasted basically all night (with earplugs it's acceptable). Check-in: I wish they send instructions earlier so I don't have to stand in front of the entrance and send passport info, but they respond quickly. Summary: I still think it's a great option for a short stay, especially for the price."
