"This property is under new ownership so it is in the process of becoming a 5 star accommodation. There is work being done and I suspect that if I stay there next year I will be giving it 5 stars. Overall, the room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is in the perfect place for people wanting to save a few dollars by driving a bit after visits to South Bend or the surrounding area. Nice hotel and if I am ever in Dowagiac, I won't hesitate to stay here again."
