"This is an amazing little cabin in the desert! We arrived after sunset and our gps kept telling us to use the wrong road, but thanks to Edgar’s clear instructions, we found the cabin with ease. Everything was so clean and tidy but the most impressive part was the property. Not only were the views of the mountains stunning, all the decor on property was phenomenal. I am so bummed we only stayed a night. Had I realized how great the cabin would be I definitely would’ve planned a longer trip to Joshua Tree. Highly recommend :)"

"A beautiful dwelling. Secluded yet close to amenities. Modern finishes and it was stocked with essentials. We enjoyed the privacy and the screened patio the most. We both noted that the cleanliness standard was a bit low. The kitchen shelves were very dirty, the window sill in the spare bedroom was full of sand and we noted that a few dishes needed a reclean before use. Perhaps this was a "one-off". Overall we would recommend this unit."

"We had a wonderful time! Beautiful spot especially sunset and nighttime! Spacious and fun. Loved the open outdoor space we tanned outside and enjoyed the wind. Had fun swinging and conversations when outside and outdoor seating made that possible. We enjoyed looking at nature.. loved the telescope and tv with sound system and ribbon window especially in the morning and noon time. My friends and I had a great time together exactly what we needed and we cooked meals for each other and sat together for meals! Host is kind and helpful even when I lost my phone in the process I was still able to contact the him!"

"We had a great time at this desert oasis. Amazing sunrises and sunsets, stillness and quiet, and hundreds of stars. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. There were seven of us with four working remotely and the internet amply met our needs. The only downside was having to leave."

"We stayed here over the Easter holiday/Spring Break. 9 of us fit comfortably in the space, though I will say our friends brought a blow up mattress for one of their children. There was a futon in the play room, but can't speak to how comfortable it was because no one slept on it. However, it would have been available had we not brought the extra bed. The house was spacious and really open. It's not far from Joshua Tree National Park at all, plus there are stores nearby which was nice. We did run into a bit of a snag when we were informed that the oven was not working. We were already en route. It would have been a pain to cancel and try to find something comparable in the area, for the same price, and that could accommodate the number of people we had. Luckily the management company and owner worked with us to find a solution. The grill definitely came in handy and we brought an induction cooktop so we were able to cook most of the meals we had planned. The house also had a record player and a fun collection of records to play. The player was connected to the house's speaker system. All the kids (and grown-ups) loved the play/game room! They also have a ton of games, books, puzzles, etc. The house was immaculately clean. We would DEFINITELY stay here again."

"Pros:TV was excellent. AC worked well. We enjoyed kitchen table & patio. Cons:Advert as sleeping for 3. 1 Queen & 1 futon. The sofa was not a futon & was super dusty. No bedding for 3rd guest. We were fortunate we brought a sleeping bag. Nowhere to hang up a jacket or blouse. No hand towel in bathrm & only 1 washcloth. The bathrm could use another hook for hanging wet towels. Only 1 tea towel for wiping down the counter, stove, pans, hands & for drying dishes. The fridge had a dirty smear in it and some expired food, possibly from prior guests. When I asked about paper towels, I was told they were not allowed to have paper towels for guests. There was lots of cutesy stuff but overall, it was not a functional set up, esp. for 3 people. We made do as we were only staying for 2 nights. I asked for communications to be texted to me. I never received a check out list. I found out later it was e mailed to me."
