"We did not use the outside amenities - nor the dishwasher, perhaps next time.There was water in the water container in the refrigerator, not sure how long it had been there, and in the coffee maker as well. Maybe just note to your cleaning crew.Appreciate the ice in freezer. Closet door in left side bedroom sticks - need more outlets for charging.Thank you for sharing the house."

"We are so happy that we chose this beautiful, modern home for our little getaway to the desert. It's easy to find (no dirt roads) and was conveniently located for getting to the park and our other events, yet it still felt peaceful, quiet, and remote. The house is the perfect blend of beautifully modern design done in a way that's luxurious yet relaxing. The open design was great for socializing and the kitchen is spacious and has all the modern appliances and accouterments you could ask for. We all loved our bedrooms - we didnt even have to draw straws. They were spacious, beds were super comfy, and they even had flashlights that would come on automatically during a power outage if ever needed. Bathrooms were beautiful!! Loved the soaking tub in the Masters as well as the Rainhead showers. And the hairdryers are to die for!! They were so good we are ditching our hairdryers for one like theirs!They thought of everything and everyone in our group loved the house as well as the seatings areas outside where we could gather together or chill on our own. As beautiful as the house is, we have to also give a special shout out to the hosts for their quick response times and being accommodating to our changing needs.We give it our highest recommendation!"

"The room was a great location for our visit to Joshua Tree National Park. Access to the north entrance, which is the less busy one, is quick and easy. It allowed us to do star gazing and a sunrise easily. The mattresses are super comfortable as is all the living areas. Danielle is super communicative and check in and out were very easy. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We had the most comfortable, relaxing stay at the Casa de la Tortuga! The large pool is glorious after half a day in the hot sun exploring nearby Joshua Tree National Park. And in the evening, when it cools down, the hot tub (which is very hot!) is a wonderful place to stargaze. The house is well appointed and very clean, with all the extras you'd expect from a hotel, like k-cup coffee, individually wrapped tooth brushes w/toothpaste, fluffy white towels and designated pool towels. Beds are comfy and have nice sheets and comforters. We loved the proximity to JT National Park (one turn and then about 5 miles straight down the road), downtown Twentynine Palms (the cool part), and all the fun art in Wonder Valley (4 miles down the highway). The internet is fast and reliable, if you need to work like my husband did. I loved having doors that open directly out to the pool from the primary bedroom. Almost forgot--the gas firepit out back is wonderful to gather around and easy to use. You really don't have to leave the backyard to have a great time... but you should take advantage of the easy access to everything that this house offers!"

"Super cute and clean home down the street from the northeast entrance of Joshua Tree National Park! Super convenient for visiting the park! We really appreciated having a kitchen and backyard to relax in after a day of hiking. We enjoyed the hot tub. There is also a pool which was a little too cold to use during our stay. Highly recommend "
