"Grear location for exploring Joshua Tree National Park. No frills motel that had everything you would need to crash for the night after a long day in the park. "

"Lake view was GREAT! All 3 staff I interacted with, over the phone and in person, were VERY helpful & friendly. However, the rooms need a thorough cleaning and fix up. We had a noisy, rattling central heating unit in our room (which wasn’t even on, because it is Summer!) The bed linen were a mix & match, no 2 pillowcases were the same. No cups in bathroom or room. All in all, price to product ratio was off."

"My initial impression was this property was going to be a downer. But when I got to my room, I was pleasantly surprised. Comfortable accommodations, mini fridge and microwave in-room, and a real coffee maker! TV has a good channel package including HBO. The pool was open, unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity to check it out. Overall, the High Desert Motel is a hidden gem. Very reasonable rates, clean rooms, nice amenities and great water pressure in the shower. I will be back! "

"Our stay at Sagewater was absolutely perfect! Check in was flawless and easy! The property host was so kind, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had a fully stocked kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed and was so convenient! The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean and just divine! I would definitely recommend and will be back again! ☺️"

"This was an adorable stable! Either was a stable at one point or modeled after one, complete with the half door. Basic accommodation but clean and comfortable. No washcloths provided with towels and no kitchen linens. No onsite check in—phone ahead for the lock box combination. "

"Dirty and disgusting. Think there was blood on the walls and the shower was too dirty to shower in. Don't know how this place is still operating."
