"We chose this hotel for the location. And it did not disappoint. We walked to the village, the marina to rent a kayak, alpine slides and several restaurants. We knew ahead of time about the construction and the pool being closed. So I did not account those things into my review. We stayed in the hotel portion with a queen bed. It was clean and comfortable. Although we didn’t use them, I liked the option of the fridge and microwave in the room. We did hear quite a bit through the doors/walls, but mostly outside of quiet hours (they do provide earplugs!) And we utilized white noise. The staff in the office were welcoming and very helpful. We look forward to coming back next summer to see the completed upgrades."

"It was HOT during our visit, but the grounds, staff, and room were amazing. We had some little critters as guests in our room, but nothing desert life doesn’t prepare you for. Staff were notified and all was well. The air conditioner was working very hard to keep up with 3-digit plus weather, but the room was so nice. It was quiet. We sat outside after Beats Antique was at Pappy & Harriet’s, and stargazed and took in the Milky Way. Wonderful stay. Would love to come back during every season. Red Dog Saloon served Mean Gene’s iced coffee and that was heaven and easily walkable, too! Thank you!!!"

"Our room at the Lodge would be perfect for summer or winter as there is a nice fireplace. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The balcony had a nice view of the lake. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a play place for kids and friendly ducks to feed. It is close to everything you could need but is isolated enough to be quiet. I would highly recommend it!"

"Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable, access to the spa and pool is good and the decor of the property right outside your room door is nice. This trip! The steam room was not working, so I enjoyed the dry sauna. The staff are very pleasant, professional and the check in process was seamless. The property is quite and safe. Near to local markets, gas stations and a few miles from Palm Springs for entertainment."

"Everything was great! Friendly staff, Beautiful location. Great view. The restaurant was great. Walking distance to the Village. Short drive to everything else. Only problem was our AC unit started leaking onto the floor. They were very apologetic and tried to fix it right away but the problem did continue until we left. They did give us a discount for the inconvenience. Besides that I highly recommend this hotel! We will return!"
