"The hotel enjoys an excellent lakeside location with direct access to a private beach, making it an ideal setting for a relaxing stay. Throughout my visit, the staff were consistently friendly, professional and helpful.
The breakfast offering was of a good standard. However, the availability of additional hot dishes that could be ordered was not clearly communicated, and greater visibility of these options would enhance the guest experience.
There were two aspects that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the gym facilities require significant investment. Approximately half of the equipment was out of service, and the remaining equipment appeared dated and in need of replacement. In addition, guests are charged €12 per day to use the gym, which feels difficult to justify given the condition of the facilities.
Secondly, the hotel applies a 5% service charge to guests' bills. This is not something I have commonly encountered at hotels. I was informed that the charge is distributed directly to the staff and, given the high standard of service I received, I was happy to pay it. However, greater transparency around this charge at the outset of a guest's stay would be appreciated."
