"Very friendly staff and good service. The highlight was using the Lido. The lifeguard on duty was exceptional, she answered all our queries and provided support for me and my wife. Would definitely recommend the hotel and we look forward to going again."

"Interior decor of communal spaces was lovely. Only outside seating area small gravelled section on edge of carpark. Room 4 not spacious but adequately furnished. Bed was comfortable. Luxury large shower compartment and multi-jet shower unit. Grime and discolouration around shower frame, plug and back of toilet seat. Secondary glazing on window blocked road noise well but excessive grime around frame. Hostess was friendly and consistently cheerful and appeared to be responsible for reception, bar, breakfast and housekeeping single- handed."

"Had a few nights away with my Wife. Really nice and clean. Short walk into Matlock Bath down a big hill but was not for the faint hearted walking back. You need to be fit or go in a car. Great kitchen and living room area. Also comfy bed. Definitely recommend for a chilled few days away 100% would go back"
