When you get there, you have to use a machine to check in, there’s literally no human individual to welcome you in, not one soul. They didn’t offer clean service, at all. This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly. You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants! The hotel is beautiful! An absolute gem worth the drive!! Originally we thought we would be much (much) closer to Lucerne but we were pleasantly surprised with the town and LOVED the hotel. The bunk beds were great for the kids. The pool was so fun and the breakfast was GREAT. We got in late and the staff waited up for us which we were so grateful for as we got lost heading in from Interlaken. The town was stunning and had this lovely, peaceful atmosphere. This is a lovely hotel near the cable car that goes up the mountain. You can ski right up to the front door of the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was very extensive and well-supplied, with high quality food. I had a very enjoyable stay here, and would come again without hesitation. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. A once in a lifetime type beauty. But hopefully I'll be back again! The pool was great and I was traveling with two 20-something kids and a 15 yr old. Staff was very nice. We ate dinner in the hotel...but not the "included" with your room dining room. It was good. Breakfast was also good...typical, but good.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and we had a lovely stay. Right by all the local transport and food options. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

New and clean place. Can walk anywhere and everywhere

We loved this hotel. It was very quaint and more like a bed and breakfast. We booked one of the smaller rooms/shared bathrooms because we wanted the less expensive price. I was worried about sharing a bathroom but in four nights that we were there, we never had one problem with that. There were two nice bathrooms for a couple of rooms to share and we never had to wait or take turns. The door locks with a key and you have total privacy for bathroom and shower. Beautiful hotel. In the heart of Interlaken. Close to the train station + short driving distance to the Falls. Looked like a great spa but we couldn’t use it because of Covid. - you need a Swiss Covid QR to enter Spas + restaurants. Otherwise a beautiful experience.

Bus 105 takes guests from Interlaken West train station to within a few steps of this charming hotel. The staff were personal and professional. The location was small town charm. The building is classic Switzerland. The buffet breakfast was among the best we've experienced and in a very charming room. They offer a free transportation pass for the immediate Interlaken area. The view from our room was spectacular. This is the best value we have found in the Interlaken area.

I used to live in this town for over 20 years,but hotel Hahnenblick was new to me under this name. I can absolutely recommend this clean and very friendly hotel to everybody.

Was close to train station, park, stores. The lobby carpet could use a cleaning, otherwise everything was great. Friendly, helpful staff. Amazing views from our room balcony! Highly recommend!
