It was hard to find in the beginning because the signage was not clearly visible. It was also weird that you need to go up to 2nd level for the reception. Staff were a bit disappointing because they are not as responsive but I guess, they are just doing their job.
The room was clean, equipped though a bit small.
The food could be better with more selections but for the price, it’s ok.
Will I recommend? Definitely. My friend recommended the place to me so I will. A plus, it was close to a...

Hotel staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Convenient location for my personal desire to be close to Chinatown, Bourke St. Mall and Her Majesty's Theater. Only small problems encountered was that I was not told that there is no room service on Sunday's & Holidays, but subsequently found out that it could be requested, and the king bed room I requested (prepaid) was not available and had to settle for a handicapped room (which I felt was equal to my original reservation request).

I came to drop off my bag since my arrival to Melbourne was so early. Turns out that they had a room already ready at 9am and let me check in. I barely slept on the flight and I was exhausted so this was such a relief and I appreciate their kindness! Plus next day I overslept for the check out but they were nice about it as well. Thank you so much! Very nice hotel with clean rooms and convenient location.

Great value for the money. Excellent gym space, pool and hot tub. One little thing is that the room card key reader that you use in the elevator for security purposes typically requires several attempts in order for the reader to recognize the card and allow you to select your room floor.

I CHOSE THIS HOTEL BASED ON THE REVIEWS FROM EXPEDIA. IT WAS EVERYTHING I EXPECTED AND MORE. IN THE HEART OF THE CITY/ EXTREMELY CLEAN/GREAT STAFF/GREAT LOCATION/GREAT RATES. CONTINENTTAL BREAKFAST WAS A NICE BONUS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE TRAVELING TO THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY. IT DIDN'T HAVE A RESTAURANT/POOL OR GYM, BUT I WANTED TO EXPLORE THE CITY AND WHAT IT HAD TO OFFER, NOT STAY CONFINED TO THE HOTEL.
KUDOS TO EVERYONE AT CITY LIMITED HOTEL

This hotel was within walking distance to the G ( Melbourne Cricket Grounds) and that's what I was looking for. It also came with a kitchenette and laundry facilities that saved us a couple of dollars on eating out every meal. There were also plenty of restaurants and shops near by. Fritz gelato is a couple of blocks down the street! Delish. Trams are also close, but if you are a walker it takes only about 20 minutes to get to the city and the free tram zone ( money saved to buy gelato! )...
