"Great food and very welcoming."

"The room was clean, lovely to have a bath. Breakfast was delicious by a wood burning stove. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved being close to Wells next the sea. Garden view room 5 did not really have a view of the garden from the balcony because it was on the end. Overall, enjoyed the stay."

"Great apartment in the centre of town. Beautifully designed with everything you could need."

"Very comfortable hotel. We stayed in the stable block with beautiful views of a lovely tree and the sea beyond. Ideally located for coastal walks. Breakfast and dinner were excellent although very expensive."

"Garden Suite was lovely and beautiful bathroom (with TV screen set in the tiles!) Lovely quality breakfast. Allowed to leave dog in room, but not to take him into breakfast which was understandable. Our dog kicked off barking and we couldn't leave him. Massive thanks to Caroline in the dining room as she accomodated as seperately in a room overlooking the gardens so we could bring our dog with us into breakfast!"

"Lovely little hotel. Breakfast choices were really good. Full English was very tasty. Staff friendly and welcoming. Shower wasn’t very powerful but we coped. "

"We had a fantastic stay! The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the setting is perfect for a country hotel and the food in The restaurant was lovely! We will be returning for another visit."

"Clean room, great to have a bathroom with bath. Quality bedding, comfy bed, lovely hospitality tray, loved the boot tray on the hearth..a good place for boots after a walk! Warm and cosy room, good quality curtains ensured good level of darkness. Two super menu's, one a la carte, good selection of beverages. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and amenable. Breakfast ample, service efficient, check in/out quick! Very fair prices, excellent value for money. Good position, parking nearby...

"Very good accommodation. Great location, rooms were good and staff helpful. Breakfast came in a hamper in your room, very nice touch, plenty of it. Would definitely go back"
