Slow staff that works on their own time. Also yelling through the halls at 9 am waking ALL guests on our floor. Didn’t have an option to put out a do not disturb sign, so of course we were woke by people trying to clean our room. The building is torn apart on the other side not shown in the Expedia photo. We wanted nonsmoking, walked into our obviously smoke smelling room first thing. FOUND MARIJUANA STEMS ON THE GROUND. Our remote was covered in white powder, who knows what it was. Gross room, felt like I couldn’t walk around without socks on. In the bathroom, there is a total of 1 small bath towel, and two hand rags for my boyfriend and I to share. On the bed, there were cigarette burns in the blanket and only 3 small travel size/ throw pillows. We had trouble sleeping with the humidity in our room. I have stayed in bad hotels before.. I didn’t expect much for this chain, but I didn’t expect to want every single penny back in my hand.

This is the most raggedy place I've ever stayed in had I known this before I got here I would never have stayed here I figured because of the location it should be nice I will never stay here again either remodel or tear it down horrible experience

OMG, do not stay here!! Cigarette burns on all the furniture, missing drawers, dirty foot prints all over the floor, yelling and screaming till the wee hours of the morning, elevator broken and roaches running around in the bathroom!! If I hadn't prepaid a non refundable rate. I'd have l gone elsewhere! Never staying there again.. The newer beds, with plastic wrap still on them but ripped open in places. Did not override the negative by any means!!

Filthiest and scariest room I have ever seen!
When I went to my room someone had left a giant poop in the toilet. There was a big blood stain on the sheets. It reeked of cigarettes and mold! I have never been in a fithier room in my life. It was scary! All the security cameras in the halls had been ripped out with wire just dangling where the cameras should be. We went back to the desk to say we weren’t staying but there was a line of people leaving that were as mortified as we were. Stay away!!!

NASTY FILTHY PLACE
First during check out the front desk clerk had her baby at work with her boyfriend eating pizza behind the counter. Second I go to take a shower and realize there are no dry towels. I call to the front desk and no one could bring me any so I end up using my shirt to drive off with. Third the sheets and blanket had cigarette burns and was old and stained. Fourth the wood table in the room had been eating up by termites. I had to kill one of the termites coming out the wood table myself. The place needs to be condemned and closed down for demolition.

Horrible place wouldn’t recommend this place staff didn’t know what they were doing when I checked in and then it smelled horrible and then the room wasn’t even clean and the swimming pool wasn’t available

The only thing that was good about the whole ordeal was that the receptionist corrected the number of people with me. The pool had no key so my son couldn't swim. The place had a bad smell to it. No coffee like they stated. The bathroom is nasty. Not a good place to stay. They put us in the basement. Not happy at all. I stay in alot of motel 6 but this one is Bad

Cheap Hotel in a not-so-great area of Memphis. Pleasant and competent Staff. Room was fairly decent and clean. Didn't see any bugs. If you need a cheap place to stay the night, it'll do.

Motel Shit
This hotel was extremely terrible! I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations and never seen it so poorly ran and the upkeep is absolutely insane. There were drug dealers, vagrants, etc everywhere! The smell of the place was disgusting because they have never cleaned the carpets. I stayed in a room that recently remodeled so it had a new bed, tv, and shower curtain however, the other people that I was with weren't so lucky. One guest beat up the front desk attendant because they got into it over his billing charges! We stayed that night because we got in late and couldn't get another room until the next day and we ran out that place by 8am and just looked around Memphis until we could check in elsewhere.

We arrived at the hotel the room wasn't ready, the lobby was not in good condition, the ceiling tiles was stained and some had holes in them the picture that is on the internet is misleading along with the amenities that was supposes to be offered didn't exist, we get to our room I pull the sheets back as I would do at any other hotel and the sheets was badly stained the pillow cases were horrible, the towels were not cleaned but they was folded up nice and neat, the air conditioning unit didn't work at all (it was a good thing it didn't get hot), oh and not to mention the track that was running in and out of the lobby, the people that was living there, the door to our room looks as if it had been pried open in the past and the traffic outside of our door due to us being in an outside room on the back it was just not good at all. If my credit card hadn't been charge and due to the high demand for rooms this weekend we would have stayed somewhere else. In my opinion this particular hotel needs to be closed down/condemned it was just nasty and all the people hanging out was not an safe environment at all.... THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO BE CLOSED!!!!! And I will let anyone that I know that plans to visit in Memphis not to reserve this location. VERY POOR!!!

First off we were given a room that other people were staying in. Then the motel was nasty outside and a guy with his pants sagging was drinking beer in the lobby. The room was nasty so I canceled my reservation and left. We will never go here again.

Upon entering the Motel it was not suitable. Once in the rooms, it was horrible. The beds were filthy, no phone, no towels and felt disgusted. Checked out the next day to go to another hotel.
