We absolutely loved our stay at the White Lilac! A beautiful property with wonderful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would happily return!

Spacious rooms with well appointed bathroom and massage shower. Restaurant offerings were above average with a good wine list. Friendly staff and overall pleasant stay. Really quick access (20 minutes) by car to Malpensa airport.

I based my booking on the free airport shuttle. The hotel exceeded my expectations! We arrived by train. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the train station. There's a short section walking along a busy road (no sidewalk, but a trail), but an easy walk. The hotel room was basic and clean. Comfotable bed, spacious bathroom, some rooms have balconies. The young woman at the reservation desk who greeted us was lovely and helpful. Her suggestions for the day and where to have lunch in Arona were most enjoyable. In the evening, a gentleman at the desk directed us to a restaurant nearer the hotel for dinner, not near the lake. Our fault for not being specific. All in all, a good choice for a close location to the airport.

The evening attended was amazing, he was very nice and helpful. He welcomed me with all the Italian charm and hospitality. He gave me insight on what restaurant to eat at even thought the options were limited for a traveler without a car. The only issue I had was that theirs was no shuttle service and the taxi prices were pretty pricey from the hotel to the airport because they charge a flat rate. I recently spent 9 nights at this lovely hotel and was absolutely thrilled with the decision to do so. The room was smaller, which wasn't a huge deal given that it was really just to sleep and shower in with maybe some down time in between. It was a perfect choice to stay the night before we flew out of Milan. Friendly service, delicious breakfast, great spacious rooms and short walk to train station. Perfect stay and would recommend to anybody!
