We chose Merida Santiago Hotel Boutique based on overwhelmingly positive reviews. We were very satisfied. From the moment we arrived tired and hungry, co-owner Jan arranged for us to have a light meal, even though the kitchen was closing down, and then provided us with a thorough inspection of our room. Our suite was spotless, beautifully designed and decorated. The bed was very comfortable as well as the sofa. The flowers and tropical trees were so pretty, and the restaurant attached, Teya, had delicious food and friendly staff. I cannot recommend this hotel more. Lots of food and shopping in walking distance. This hotel is beautiful inside and out!

Un lugar con excelente ubicación, aunque algunas áreas son compartidas es muy tranquilo. La atención muy amable del personal. Solo ojo con el estacionamiento, se tiene que reservar antes de llegar ya que es limitado. Si traes mucho equipaje lo tienes que trasladar desde donde encuentres estacionamiento.

Beautiful, well decorated room with high ceilings!! A huge window that leads out to a private balcony with small table and chairs. Room was on the 2nd floor. The bed was super comfortable and had handcrafted pillow cases and runners. The bathroom had high ceilings, beautiful lighting and best smelling lotion. 10/10 one of the best stays i’ve ever had at a hotel. I did not want to go home for maybe the first time ever. food was great service was great rooms were so comfortable and well appointed. IM OBSESSED. currently averaging about 10 nights a month in hotels for work and this is easily the most comfortable place i’ve been in over a year.

The place looks exactly as it's photographed. It's a lovely, brand new build with excellent design. Juan, the host, is easy to communicate with and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Would stay here again if we return. Thoroughly enjoyed our suite with a fridge and kitchen so that we could store some drinks. Gracias!

We loved Merida and Luz en Yucantan hotel. Our party of four utilized three different rooms over four nights. The room La Puesta del Sol room was noisy at night due to music from the park a block away even on week nights. Both La Perla and La Sombra rooms faced the pool and were quiet at night. We love this hotel!! Although we visit Merida frequently, this is the first time staying at Casa Tavera. We found the place to be a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was splendid with an amazingly comfortable bed. The pool was very inviting and the daily breakfast was delicious (try their horchata!). Casa Tavera will definitely be our hotel of choice on our future visits to Merida. Thank you to management and staff for a wonderful stay!

Was excellent in all . Atmosphere,attention , closed to the Merida center . Only problem there no restaurant to eat . Just for breakfast that is amazing also .

We were in Merida for eight days and we LOVED this hotel! It was small, well-kept and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was perfect about 6 blocks north of the Plaza. Down the street from the hotel was the Negrita Cantina; a must-visit place. We'll definitely be staying at Koox Casa de las Palomas again on our next visit!
