"Checked into room 562, we had been travelling since 2am so very tired, we enjoyed a lovely steak and the staff at the bar and restaurant we’re very efficient. We have stayed here many times and it’s our go to hotel when Im working in London. Unfortunately this stay was not pleasant at all there was a fan noise coming from outside the window and a loud pitched noise coming from the air conditioning unit although it was switched off, we called reception and raised our concern who sent the maintenance man upstairs to check, he left stating he would report back to the manager, we then waited expecting a call but didn’t hear anything, we called again and the receptionist was so dismissive of our complaint, a manager ‘Marta’ came up to the room and was very rude trying to say it was the bathroom fan and that the window was open, myself and my husband were in our nightwear and the whole experience was dreadful, Marta offered us another room as the noise became very apparent after her trying to justify it, we then moved rooms. The communication, the way it was handled was dreadful. Upon check out my husband spoke with Harpreet who was lovely and very apologetic of the handling of our complaint, he listened and understood. "
