"Location was incredible, lovely room and grounds"

"Lovely big room & big bed, plus plenty of parking. Great food & wine too."

"A good location for us with plenty of parking. Room was clean, but ours had a very tired bed mattress which really needed replacing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay and food and drinks were all reasonably priced."

"Lovely setting, great room and facilities, delicious breakfast."

"Lovely little gem great wedding location. We just stayed for the one night but definitely recommend will be back."

"Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers"

"A lovely hotel, with parking, and great views across the National Park. Nice, clean room. Very welcoming and helpful staff."

"Amazing place and the food is phenomenal!"

"It was a lovely hotel with excellent food and tranquil surroundings."

"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Fabulous stay for 2 nights, great staff, great food, breakfast and dinner, very comfortable bed."
