B&B in Metropolitan District of Quito

We stayed here one night on our way home from the Galapagos Islands. It was a short 10-minute taxi ride ($10) from the airport. This is a secure (locked gate) B&B set on about 1 acre of lovely gardens. We arrived there tired and hungry, she prepared us a simple but decent dinner for $9/pp, an early breakfast at 5:45 am and a ride to the airport at 6am for our early flight home. She was very accommodating - just what we needed at a good price.

Hotel Casa San Marcos is located on a quiet street in Old Town, Quito. It's close to great restaurants, the beautiful churches, and wonderful squares and attractions. We will stay here again in the future.

We stayed at Hotel Casa Gardenia for two lovely nights. It's located on a very quiet, nondescript cobblestone street just a few blocks from the Plaza Grande. The owners and staff were all very helpful and gave us a map of the area with recommendations on sites to visit. If you like to just walk around and explore, then the Hotel is in a great location for doing just that. We explored almost all of Old Town Quito without ever having to hire a driver. Great room, loved the bedding and pillows.

This hotel was perfect for our family trip to Ecuador to attend my daughter’s wedding. We took almost all of the rooms and the service, breakfasts, help in arranging taxis, was exceptional. The view from the rooftop is fabulous as well! The rooms were very large and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place. 2 blocks to Plaza Foch. Countless restaurants. An excellent Ecuadorian restaurant across the street. Tour bus pick up at the corner. ATM’s Great staff. Remarkably, as close in as this place is, the street is only 2 blocks long. No through traffic. Absolutely quiet. No barking dogs.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Property is in quiet countryside with a great view of the mountains, but is only a 5-minute drive to downtown Cotocachi. Good complementary breakfast.

The check in was the best. We arrived late and she accommodated us right away. Surrounded by hummingbirds and beautiful greenery. Breakfast was excellent. Great place to stay
