"This was a great last minute find. We rented a car at the Quito airport and drove to Papallacta. The drive was beautiful and easy. The spa and hotel are amazing. We only stayed overnight, but wish we had more time there. To get the full experience, stay for at least 3 days/2 nights. One day for the spa and thermal pools and another day hiking the National Park. Check in is at 3. Check out is at 1 but you can leave your vehicle in their parking lot and hike up the mountain. So beautiful! Words cant even describe it."

"This is a really unique gem located in Puembro. The staff, both reception and service, were great. Had a really early shuttle to the airport, which they provide. I missed breakfast because of my early departure, but they kindly packed me a breakfast box to go. Beds were amazingly comfortable! Only issue was that it was NOT close to the airport. Expedia said “3.4 miles.” That may have been accurate for as the crow flies, but realistically you have to go all the way around something(?)) to get there, so it’s about a half hour drive to the airport."

Jonathan was great in organising transport from the airport and back and showing us around the accommodation. We loved the pool area. As a side note, although situated reasonably close to the airport it does take half an hour to drive. We would highly recommend this accommodation."
